Kelvin Wilson is an injury doubt for Forest.

The defender was forced off at half-time with an ankle problem as the Reds began their Championship campaign with a 1-0 defeat at Burnley on Saturday.

Luke Chambers replaced Wilson at Turf Moor and he is on standby to start against the League Two club, who Forest beat at the City Ground at this stage of the competition last season.

Boss Billy Davies will be forced to make changes as a handful of players are away on international duty.

Chris Gunter and Robert Earnshaw are with Wales, Radi Majewski with Poland and new loan signing Ryan Bertrand with the England Under-21 squad.

Paul Anderson, Lewis McGugan, Garath McCleary and Dele Adebola could find themselves in the starting line-up after having to settle for the bench at Burnley.
