Another summer arrival, defender Alex Bruce, could make his first competitive appearance but Grayson may be tempted to rest some of his other new signings after Kasper Schmeichel, Paul Connolly, Fede Bessone, Neill Collins and Lloyd Sam all appeared in a new-look Leeds side against Derby.
Lincoln have defensive problems ahead of the trip.
Adam Watts and Ian Pearce are nursing ankle injuries following the defeat at Rotherham on the opening day of the season.
Both players are doubts and City manager Chris Sutton could try to make a loan signing, especially as Danny Hone cannot be brought back during the first month of his six-month loan at Darlington.
"We will have to assess Adam but it does not look overly good,'' said Sutton. "Ian also has a bad knock, so they will both be major doubts.
"We will give them as long as possible but we will be looking at the possibility of bringing somebody in.''
